Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and Theater. Upon moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater and choreographing for more than two dozen musical and stage productions including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing TV and film roles while she studied improvisation through The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her unique voice and petite height has let her take on a wide variety of colorful characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts' evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of an attorney and a the party animal in TV The Land's The Exes as a Series regular between the years of 2011 and. As well as being the main Regular on ABC Romantically Challenged where she as the flirty, sassy cousin of Alyssa Miano. She also played the suburban mom who's anxious in CW No Tomorrow. She sang soprano in several cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. The most recent appearance was playing the dim, adorable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. The couple has two young kids and lives in a tranquil house. She enjoys writing or sew as well as volunteer at schools.
