Barbara Eden has been a Hollywood icon for several decades. Eden was a standout in a profession which talented actors and beautiful faces are usually forgotten at the end of their careers, has maintained her fans to this day. Barbara became famous in America in the role of "Jeannie" on a cult American sitcom titled "I I Dream of Jeannie" after appearing in a dozen films that were unsuccessful. While working at WTVJ-TV, Miami, she was awarded the Sports Emmy. Her other jobs included WPLG-TV Miami & WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She joined ESPN in 1993 and was one of the anchors for ESPN2 when it was first established. The time she worked at ESPN2 lasted three years. Then she moved to Fox Sports. Then she returned to ESPN hosting in 1999.
